The pandemic has been a mixture of painful and powerful and in many ways a blessing in disguise. I've learned to be thankful for what have. I'm also clearer about what I do and dont want in my life.
Professionally I have 15 years worth of vintage treasures amassed for better or worse in Paris and London. And now I'm about to take it all to Margate. I'm hoping it will give me a peaceful and calm environment to write, create and make a lovely space to house my collection. I hope clients will come and enjoy the new space and enjoy the fresh air and the inspiration it will bring! Personally I'm looking for a place to live where my family and friends will be able to walk with me on the beach and enjoy an escape to wild nature whenever they want to visit. See you soon ...

Tara MunroHello. My name is Tara Munro and I suffer from Stendhal syndrome! - bear with me here! It's a disorder which causes rapid heartbeat, dizziness and even hallucinations when a person is exposed to an experience of great personal signficance. It first happened to me when I entered Battersea Town Hall in 2005. where they were having a Vintage fashion & textile fair! I literally thought I'd died and gone to heaven. Angels fluttered around and my heart stayed in my mouth the whole time as I caressed the silks and laces, marvelled at the prints and wondered if I'd make it out alive. I did indeed make it out in one piece. Alas my credit card did not! From that day on I knew that I'd found what I wanted to do next. The rush I'd felt was addictive and I knew I what I wanted to do. And so my new career was born from a very exhilirating illness. Those with equal passion for art, literature, cars or wine will recognise the life affirming rush that it offers and therein lies the theme of my future blogs. To share all that full of wonder at the beauty! ArchivesCategories |
